Many of you will know of our long standing wish to see an attractive information point on the front green. Despite a number of setbacks we have never given up hope. We drew up plans for the structure and with the support of local people, business and councillors obtained advertising consent to construct in the conservation area. Local voluntary groups and individuals have offered to help in the construction to minimise costs.

Funding has been difficult, but thanks to the Co-op we have a chance of turning our dream into a reality.

Every time members shop at the local Co-op, 1% of what they spend on selected own brand products and services goes to the local Co-op Community Fund.
