Despite a low turnout Phoenix members along with local residents Annemarie Kastelein, Carol Gibson and Cia O’May plus John Hay from Minard cleared the Lochgilphead foreshore on Saturday 18 May.  We still managed to tidy the foreshore from The Corran Bridge to The Herring Pier.  We collected more than 26 bags of rubbish as well as a life sized plastic duck and a large animal bone, maybe a seal.
